The question behind the search is not really "where". It is "where can I get it without the person behind the counter looking at me". Here are the honest options.
Pharmacies
Most pharmacies on Kampala Road, in Ntinda and Bugolobi stock one or two brands of water-based lubricant, usually 50 to 100 ml, at UGX 20,000 to 40,000. You have to ask for it by name, in front of whoever is queueing behind you. Some pharmacists are matter-of-fact about it; some are not. Stock is inconsistent.
Supermarkets
The large supermarkets keep it near the condoms, sometimes locked in a cabinet that an attendant has to open. Prices are similar to pharmacies. The advantage is anonymity in the aisle; the disadvantage is the locked cabinet.
Online, delivered
You choose on your phone, pay by Mobile Money or at the door, and a rider brings a plain padded bag with your name and phone on it and nothing else. That is what we do. The full range is here, from UGX 15,000 for a travel bottle, and the finder narrows it to one choice in three questions.
What "discreet" means here, exactly
- The parcel is a plain bag or box. No logo, no product name, a neutral sender name on the label.
- The rider sees an order number and an amount to collect. Not the contents.
- The receipt shows an amount and an order number.
- Messages say an order is on its way and when. They never name a product.
- Your Mobile Money statement shows our business name, not a product.

If someone else might open it
Choose a delivery time when you are home, or send it to your workplace with your name. The rider calls the number on the order before arriving and hands it to the person who answers to that name. If you would rather collect, say so in the order notes and we arrange a meeting point in town.

Kampala: 1 to 3 days, from UGX 10,000, free on orders over UGX 1,000,000. Pay 20% by Mobile Money to confirm, the rest at the door. Wakiso, Mukono and beyond: 3 to 7 days by courier, paid in full up front. Details for every district are on the delivery page.
